in class writing

in the poem I liked the line "enter the world refreshed by the hope" and I like this line because I feel like it makes me feel like I should be a little more laid back by things and not worried about so many things, I feel like it means to open and not be so afraid of things.
And I feel like I connect with the line "love you work, and enjoy your play" because i take picking out my outfits very serious because I want to love what I wear and love what I put together.  and  I enjoy playing lacrosse so I feel like I connect with line pretty well.

poetry unit

1. for poem one I thought it was interesting how she had so many examples of how to be prepared in life. and for the second poem I find it interesting that he compares a waterski to a poem. for the first poem the line "love your work and enjoy your play" capture my attentions and for the second poem the line "I say drop a mouse into a poem" captures my attentions. the emotion of the first poem is carrying and loving. and the second poem is more straight up and wants to give the people an idea of poetry

my broken lacrosse sticks feelings

I was designed by an 8th grade girl. She was very picky and wanted everything to be perfect. After 3 hours of being tested with different things she decided she wanted me. she picked me up after two weeks of being built. I had a black body with gold lettering, and a black head with white gold and black strings. I was very light and thin. She brought me every where and played with me every day. when she was shooting around with me I would feel whip flashed and dizzy because it was one shot after another. when she would thrown a ball against a wall I was getting hit in the head over and over again. All of a sudden i stared getting hit and wacked and was in pain. But the girl didn’t seem to care. One day she was playing with me and was shaking like she had never been before. I assumed it was a big important game so i knew i had to do my best and help her. After about 20 minutes of playing with me all of a sudden i was cut in half. I felt the pain from the little girl and tear drops on my body. I didn’t know what had happened but I was thrown aside and was laying on a dusty ground till the game was over. the girl picked me up and brought me home, but the girl never played with me again. she shipped me off to someone new and I was just thrown away

bye bye lax stick

For my birthday one year all I wanted to do was design my own lacrosse stick. My parents brought me to a place and I spent three hours designing it. I wanted to make sure I liked the texture, the weight, the head shape, the style of the strings, I wanted everything to be perfect. after the three hours I decided what I wanted. It took about 2 weeks for them to get it ready for me and three games into using it it snapped in half. so after all the time and effort I put into making it I felt broke.

because I love lacrosse and it sometimes you get broke.
